In the process of re-doing my setup. Here's what I have:
- Bitfenix Prodigy with vented side panel, currently unfiltered
- GTX 970 with open Twin Frozr cooler, so it's dumping hot air into the case
- All drive bays removed
- 230mm Spectre Pro front intake (3-pin)
- H100i, currently with stock fans (4-pin PWM) set to exhaust at the top
- Space for rear 140mm fan
- Motherboard with only two fan headers: both PWM-compatible
I'm wondering what the best way to set up would be. I'd like positive pressure in the case to avoid excess dust.
Questions:
1. Should I bother replacing the H100i stock fans, which I find rather loud? If so, any specific recommendations for superior 120mm radiator fans?
2. Should I bother with a rear fan? If so, would it need to be an intake to maintain positive pressure? Any specific models?
