Profile pictures...

So, I'm pretty new here (posting wise) and I've got a few dumb newbie questions to ask..

What's the deal with all of the matching profile pictures, am I missing something here?

Furthermore (maybe I'm dumping myself into a pit of regret here) but what the hell is GD.

GD = General Discussion

The profile pictures are all simply variations on the gangster theme. Many, many years ago all the pictures were of different guns. At some point, and for reasons I can no longer remember, they were changed to gangsters.

You can select a profile pic from the three on your profile page, I think more may unlock as you post.

"Pit of regret" sounds like an apt description for GD

I've always found it best to not display an image just incase someone wants to take a hit out on me.

They were changed to gangsters because the original owner of ocuk (Spie) fancied himself a godfather and so wanted to give himself the image of the same titled Marlon Brando character. Yeah.
