Program instead of ati overdrive

i am trying ati tools....all its for is to increase the fan without increasing the clock speeds....the overdrive utility is causing me problems...if i tick overdrive to be honest think there is a fault with the card and i only got it today....gonna try it over the weekend see what happens thanks mate for the link.

if you think your card is unstable at stock underclock it and stress it if it is its RMA time

if i under clock it its not stable at all its 875/1250 i put it on 850/1200 the desktop flickers desktop its ok at 875/1250.....but having a few problems on games with flickering and on bad company 2 the screen goes grey/green with like pinstripes down then the pc reboots...its only a new card today i put my old 4890 and every thing is great, probaly have a play over the weekend then if cant sort it ill phone up tuesday see if any one in tch can help me.

sounds like the card is a little dodgy, what about the RAM? you declocked that too

i have not overclocked anything.....ohh on the graphics card yeah see my understanding is if you underclock it should run ok but its seems to only work on the 875/1250 on some games but battlefield bad company 2 it will not entertain one bit just flickers even when i am on the main screen in the game.

Roachy, go into ATi CCC and disable Catalyst A.I thats the only way I can get rid of the screen flicked at the menu screen with my 5770 Crossfire.

Sorry for not replying earlier. I just disabled Catalyst A.I and left the others as they were.

yeah ive done the same as well ...still annoyed though on the bc2 game as its one i always play but i am sure if the other games are ok there will a fix out soon....ill do some benchmarking and put it under stress over the weekend to make sure its all ok thanks for your help guys.
