Program to allow remote access?

Hi, I know about remote desktop but are there any decent programs for maintaining this connection regrdless of IP Change?

I'm going on holiday for 4 weeks and i'd like to access my home desktop via my netbook.

There are loads of sites that'll give you a hostname that's updated to your IP via your router or a tool on your computer but https://secure.logmein.com/ should be on your computer anyway. Not as good as remote desktop but very handy on occasion as it goes through NAT.

Just tried logmein, fantastic.

Easy and fast. Not as good looking as remote desktop but i'm bot going to be using it for long periods of time.

Especially good for noobs who don't know how to tinker with firewall rules.

Also don't need to worry about ip changes

dyndns.com and remote desktop.

I see no reason to use anything else.

I prefer Teamviewer to logmein

I use Teamviewer. Logmein was great on my old pc but messed up my graphics drivers on my new pc disabling one of my screens.
