Program to chop the end off of avi files?

I'm I'm trying to fit an avi onto a disc but it's slightly over the limit, are there any programs that'll allow me to chop off a specified amount of the beginning or ending. Thanks

would that be able to batch chop the first 2mins and last 1min off a load of WMV files? I'm fed up of watching the intro and credits of 24. I really should get a wireless mouse.

VDub is for AVI's not WMV as far as I know. Looking on the same site as the above I found this which might do the trick. Movica

Cheers for that I remember using this program a very long time ago to join a load of jpegs together into a video. Didn't think about its other functions

Does DVD shrink work with AVI`s if so thats probably the best bet, do you have nero vision, also can you not do this through windows movie maker ?

Uh, yeah, Movie Maker will allow you to crop the video, if that's a good enough solution.
