Program to copy videos onto dvd disk?

I have some Xvid files and would like to copy them to a blank dvd so i can watch them on my dvd player

What is the best and easiest program that will do it and convert the files for me?

thanks. encoding 1 file out of 22 took 35 minutes. Think ill pass and just put them on as data instead!
