program to split up a mkv

just need to fit a 6gb on to a fat32 flash drive. so want to split it in 2 parts.

any free and easy software to do this?

7-Zip it into two archives, or do you need the parts to be playable from the stick?

4GB, aka fat32 max filesize. which will probably be 3.9GiB

errm... I think we're talking about a different kind of "splitter" here.

The latest freeware version of SolveigMM AVI Trimmer will handle MKVs - it's a rather basic program and a bit cackhanded to use, but it might do the job if your needs are modest.

It works fine for me as i split Mkv,s for a fat32 usb stick to watch movies on
