Our combi boiler was replaced earlier this year (with Ideal Logic+ c30) and the new one doesn't have a programmable time. It wasn't an issue before, but now that it is getting colder and we have a baby, we need to be able to set the heating to come on at certain times.

This is our thermostat:

Looking for a cheap and cheerful Programmable or Smart Thermostat which can easily replace the existing one, without the need for any additional wiring. Not even sure if that is possible though.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Switching stats is easy. Ours looked like yours and I did it myself.

For what I bought I put my old stat and main control unit too into the Web page of the new k brand and it tells you which wires need to go in which ports.

All you need is a screw driver, drill to mount new stat, ideally a way to check power is truly off (multi meter).

Be aware it could be 230v, mine was.

You definitely will not need to replace wiring.

Which one did you get?

I got a tado as I wanted to control every room independently, each radiator has a robotic valve (work from home so it's extremely useful not to heat whole house all day)

But I understand you don't want something that detailed? So I didn't mention brand
