Programme Data file needed, how to?

so basically i manually backed up my c drive

the programme data folder is hidden, in order for you to access it you would need to go to options and select the "show hidden folder option"

when i do this the hidden folders appear, i.e programme data and appData ect

but when i do this i go into my C drive back up, all the hidden files appear apart from the programme data folder...

it likes its invisible, but im 100% sure i copied the whole C drive and pasted it in a separate drive in case of HD failiure.

so is there any other way to access this folder ? i need to recover some important files///....

How did you back the files up? If you just went in to the C drive and copied them across, it won't have copied the program files folder.

The appdata folder will only be there because it was inside the users folder.

but why did it not copy the programme data folder? is it becuase it was invisible? should i of take it off hidden then copy it? but its too late now right??


i only wanted to recover some game saves, hours invested in and now all lost.

Yup.

Macrium Reflect is the way to do this.

It basically creates a large zip file of your whole drive. You can use Macrium to browse this image file or restore it.

im downloading it but it looks very hard to use.
