As title, any programms that clock both cores ?
If I use Overdrive I think it only clocks one core ??

Ok, I only see one core in the drop down menu ?

so I can't choose both cores.

Also the screen goes white for a long time....I thought it was locked so I hit Reset.
When I went back into Overdrive, I see it had upped the Core MHZ, so I clicked Test Custom Clocks, the screen then went black with horizontal lines.....I guessed this wasn't good and reset again.
I m doing something fundamentally wrong here ??

Well stone me if you don't learn summat new every day. I've jus selected the drop down menu (the one directly next to the padlock symbol), raised the core up to 850, tested and it passed, then selcted the second option in the same drop down menu and lo and behold, the core dropped down to stock. Switching between the two options deffo shows the clock of both cores individually.
I thought when you overclocked anything using CCC it automatically upped both cores and memory, this shows it does one at a time, and you have to select the second core/memory option. Also if you switch between the core, I've found that the temp goes from 54c for one core and 70c ish for the other core, its as if for desktop useage, only one core is used. Now this might/probably is common knowledge for a lot of ppl here, but I certainly didn't know this.

This switching doesn't hapen on mine, I just get the same clock no matter which I choose from the menu next to the padlock.
I am running Cat 8.2....you on 8.3 ?
Perhaps this might explain it ??

I have managed to manually slide the clocks to Core 870 MHz and Mem 955 MHz and it passes ATI tool for 30 minutes no errors, but my 3D06 score really doesn't improve...maybe I am only upping one core ?

I am a little reluctant to go back to Cat 8.3 as it produced some nasty flickering during COD4 when flash nades were used.

amd gpu tool needs a updated file to overclock, i think in general you can find links for it around, though i think the article on overclocking the X2 on vr-zone has links to modded config for both amdgputool and rivertuner.

What are you classing AMDGPU tool ?
ATi Tool ?

Sorry if thats a noob question :o
