Project: 0001
This is my first watercooled build.

I've been delaying this project far too long, it's time I think that I actually get to work :)

Reason for delays range from Exploding PSU's, screaming graphics cards to broken cpu coolers and many more :(

I just want to throw out a special thanks to a few people that made this possible.

Steve Cort
: Runs the local PC store in my town. Had to run to his place far to many times to get replacement parts :p

Nils Papke: He made me some wonderful items. It was truly a pleasure getting to know him.

Ash Mullan: Who helped so much, she'd probably give me the beating of a life time if I forgot to include her :D

Reasons for those little question marks are simply because I can't make up my mind.
I was dead set on an i7 build but now I'm waiting for Phenom 2.

I decided to get cracking today but it seems my order got messed up.
I received a DDC Pro and not an Ultra.
Now there's not a snowballs chance in hell I'll get a replacement within 2 weeks. So instead of getting all mucked up about it, I decided to grab the old soldering iron.

Here's the Pro

And here's my new Ultra :D

You'll all have to excuse my bad camera technique :p:

Cleaning my sexy Supreme
STH70264.jpg

I found a lot of loose little bits of black plastic on the inside that needed to be removed.

I also got liquid on my desk :( Only 2 drops though.

My mock loop.

STH70278.jpg

I had a meter of 7/16 lying around and decided to use it to mess around.

Filling it up.

Bubbles of DOOM!
STH70280.jpg

I hate them so much, but atleast after about an hour they're all out of the little loop.

There's only a few small ones left in the res.

I started sleeving some cables also.
STH70186.jpg

I've got many many more to do :p:

Small update:

Did 99% of my sleeving. Just waiting on my fans to arrive and they'll be mangled too.

I feel quite pleased, this was my first attempt at sleeving and I like it :D

Half way through 1 PCI-E. I'm also replace those nasty red connectors with black.

Done :)

SATA After

Now I'm also waiting for most of my other parts to arrive.
I hope I get some by Wednesday, but I doubt it :(

Rad fits perfectly, with about half an inch clearance from the side :D

I'll post a pic as soon as my camera is charged. *Can't seem to find my carger :( *

Blairw is right :) The exact same stuff. Also Nils handles everything in Germany.

In response to Thatguy119's question, I'll be mounting the radiator in the bottom.

Yes, it's a full murderMod.

Except unlike some people I got the parts for the chassis made, instead of ordering a fully pre-modded chassis.

You're also right, you keep it and just change the parts :)

MidnightLamp the name for the sleeving is murderMod MDPC-X Psychopack.

It was for the origianl Million Dollar pc's before Nils introduced it to murderMod :)

If you're going white you'll have to get Techflex sleeving.
To make sure that no colours stick through you'll probably have to go to layers.

I'm thinking black and chrome, so maybe some white led's or cathodes.

I haven't made up my mind yet, although I've always been partial towards black and blue.

Also my weakest link is my camera by far.

I really can't do muderMod justice with what I have :(

Yes, yes it is.

I'd have another few updates, but I can't seem to find my camera's charger anywhere :/

Silly watercooling gremlins stole it!

Finally some updates again :p

Unfortunately the gremlins that stole my camera's charger are still at large.

So I snatched my mother's :D

I ran into a problem in that the powdercoaters are closed for quite some time.

So I went and got some sandpaper, primer and black paint.

Here's one of my victims.

I also got a nice surprise, just as I got back from town a DPD Global Van pulled in with these beauties :D

Sadly I'm still waiting on RAM that's in the post, and it seems Koolance have been bad boys!

The place I ordered a large amount of parts from STILL haven't received any koolance fittings yet. So that order is delayed :(

Atleast I got a confirmation that the Phenom II 940 will be arriving by the 6th :D

My RAM arrived from Germany today. Hopefully my test GPU will arrive by Friday.
Also by then I should have the work on my chassis done.

Also here's the finished midplate I was working on earlier.
Riveted into place :)

Please excuse the bad quality, I'm still a photo noob. Will take some time before I'm use to the camera :p

Thanks guys.

Mekrel, Nils made me that midplate, also a backplate and some others.

Don't worry they'll appear shortly :D

I was contemplating getting a full chassis from Nils, but that defeats the purpose of having a mod, it's really just you building some pc parts into it and done.

I wanted to get my hards dirty :)

I received my test GPUs yesterday morning.

P1053660.jpg

So I decided to fire up the systems check if things are actually working, and well play some games :p:

More to come, seems my one order was held up at customs...
