Anybody interested in this? Early signs look promising especially if they commit to high tick servers and stay ontop of the cheating community.

Not sure what to think about the magic/skills elements in a tactical FPS though, i've played CS for too long.

Could be really interesting honestly. Adding magic/elements just adds another layer. It isn't like they are going for hyper realism super shooter 2000. They by the looks of it are doing a raw input fps with their twist and probably influenced by cs and overwatch.

Could be fun.

EDIT : Infact after watching this a few times now i actually look forward to seeing more. This could be really good and Riot certainly were saying the right things. However if the anti hack closes the entire match because it caught a cheater that would be terrible. Bad the cheater and matchmake a new public into the lobby is the better way to approach it imho.

I think i agree with terminating the match, i don't want to play with or against a cheater. I don't want to play against a team who's lost a player if we kick individual cheaters. I just want a fair clean match, if that means queing for a new match than so be it.

Will keep a close eye on this one, hope to get an early alpha/beta.

I understand what you are saying however i don't think that will be a good match for public games. As it's just going to lead to people trolling with it. I don't want to keep loosing progress because someone wanted to cheat on my side or the opponents side. They should be banned and a replacement dropped in. Even if they pause the match for 30 seconds to matchmake someone in.

Yeah, just can't see how that will work.

Not fair on a random to get dropped in a middle of a match that could be possible losing, or not warmed up as much as the rest of the players etc. Though as long as they are handing out bans quickly and have a good anti cheat than thats a good start.

I wouldn't get too hung up or worried about what you're seeing regarding any specific thing, such as anti-cheat or whatever, there's a long way to go yet :)

We've been working on this for years, and now the cat is out of the bag! It's driving one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in the games industry right now, so there's a lot to look forward too. We're literally sparing no expense, in making this an ultra low ping, high quality experience for players and spectators, as Esports is one of the main drivers behind it.

Gonna be a busy year! :D

How far away is the game or cannot you now say.

I'm looking forward to something over than CSGO to play :-)

Have never played overwatch, looked too gimicky for a competivie FPS. I of course could be completely wrong about that, it just didn't look compelling enough for me to put the hours into it.
