Well folks this thing has finally arrived after months of waiting I am sooo excited I could pee on the carpet lmao! Anyway moving on...

I didn't take much in the way of photos especially the "in between" bit so to speak while my machine was in bits and general chaos ensued lol so we have some before and after pics but at least people can get to see it.

Here is the package as it arrived.

Then we have its contents;

The Antec Khuler is on the left and I bought a cable splitter just in case, a ATX power extension and some decent thermal paste remover.

Got a couple of shots here with my old air cooler installed, my case is the Antec 1200 Gaming Case in case anybody is wondering ;)

This second one is much better.

So we now skip ahead about 4 hours and here it is installed and working :D

A few better shots here.

Tempreatures seem a little on the high side though for some reason might just be me though I don't know.

Anyway hope you enjoyed the piccys!

Does seem a little high maybe, but as domthecondom says, depends on clock speed.

How do you have the air flow set over the rad, is it pulling air in or venting? Looks good though :)

What speed is the CPU running at?

How much TIM did you use also? too much acts as an insulator....can't spell

The thermal paste was pre-applied to the pump so I just used that.

CPU is a i7 930 @ 3.80GHz the air flow blows through the radiator and out the back (push/pull).

Fans need a clean :D

Yeah I know ;)

Cable management ...... dusting.....

Sorting the cabling in this case is a nightmare.

EDIT - I have upped the fans speed now so they are sat at about 900-1000 RPM with the CPU temp at about 40 degrees Celsius.

Here is a screen shot using HWmonitor I am still running at 4GHz with normal temps of about 40 degrees Celcius, could somebody check out my voltages too please as I don't know if they are too high or not. I bought the CPU, motherboard and RAM already over clocked from where I bought it I then added (at a later date) another 6GB of RAM to the existing 6GB I had. I have thought about putting all settings on my motherboard back to stock and doing the whole OC myself (gulp).

Thanks for any help/advice etc :)

it could be due to having 6 sticks of ram as the memory controller is built into the i7's and could be pushing the heat higher ontop off that overclock

and could you max the cpu then take a screen shot as intel speedstep might be running thus lowering your actual user voltage at load but if 1.3v @4.2ghz then thats a good voltage

Is that top fan an intake? There's a lot of dust on the upper plane of the fans leading me to think this... if it was my setup, I'd have that top fan as an exhaust and the fans on the khuler blowing into the case so that big-ass fan can pull the heat back out the top :)

Shall I run P95 then take a screen shot of CPU-Z?

As for the fan setup... the top fan is indeed an exhaust. The fans on the rad suck air through the rad from the middle of the case and blow it out the back. So instead you think it should be the other way around in that air is pulled in from the back of the case through rad and into the case and the top fan sucks it out again? Antec I believe recommend having it set up the way I have it now but I have no idea if they considered cases with a 200mm fan in the top lol.

My clock speed is 4GHz and everything seems to be stable not had any issues at all except for one application totally crashing and locking everything up but otherwise pretty rock solid.

Thanks to everybody for taking the time to look at this.
