Ok - i have finnaly finished my case (almost!).

In the end i decided to paint it satin black.

Before i got started on the case this is what it looked like

pretty ugly really, actually, thats an understatment.

This is the front... ewww :(

I wanted to make the side window look much sleeker with clean lines, so i took a jigsaw to it :D

I stripped the case down

These are the 'plans' i marked out on the side

After i took the jigsaw to it it looked like this

I then gave it a few coats of satin black

I then painted the rest of panels

After few more coats and touching up i got this .... (all blemishes and scratches have now been removed)

I then got cracking onto the front of the case

Today i received my black sata hdd and a kama bay which has been fitted but i havnt got around to takeing pictures yet.

Got some pics now

As for the front 2 floppy slots i intend to source a small piece of mesh and mount the switch which turns on and off my cathode light.

Sorry for the low res pics

Will add some proper ones soon-ish.

Also sorry for not putting the images on the actuall board - cba to resize them and re-host them :D

Thanks :)

I used satin black on the sides - thats all, as for the front i used satin, and it then ran out - i wanted to get it done quick so i used the satin as a primer, then smacked on some gloss black :)

Heres some hi-quality pics. Still needs abit of tinkering with.

A huge improvement of what it once was, how much did the redesign and original case, cost you in total?

Erm, few tins of paint from halfrauds which isnt a lot

dvd + kama bay come to £32

so not to much overall
