Hi all i have a new project going on so i thought i would let you fellow ocuk members know :) , i was using a watercooled lian-li a05b but wanted to use a much bigger case so it was all internal watercooled so i bought a chieftec mesh full tower .

This is the list of components being used
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 - Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS4 Intel P35 - GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC2-6400C4 800MHz
EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB - Maxtor Diamondmax 21 320GB - Pioneer DVR-212BK
Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus Black Multi Fan Controller - Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU
i will be looking to add more ram soon and also get a new gfx card probably a ATI 4870 :) .

Now to the watercooling parts being used

And it ready for the inside to be painted and if you saw my coolermaster cavalier you will have a idea of what colour it will be :D .

Please make that black and orange! (i may have jsut looked at the previous build and thought it looked crazy in the orangey pics!)

Just a update i have now got the case painted and tomorrow i can start to put it all together but i will still need so paxmate for the side panels and also some acrylpanel for the window but i have some meshxpanel which i could use instead , not sure what to do there  opinions would be nice on that .

case4-1.jpg

Case upside down but you get the idea .

grills.jpg

Mesh off the front panel and the rad grill painted .

I have got some more done this morning , the side panel has 2 cutouts for the mesh to go and i cut and painted the mesh but i need to get some edge trim before i can fit them .

Looking pretty sick, wasn't too sure on the yellow at first but it grows on you, good job

Each to there own i say ;)

Curses! you didnt go for orange! :(

Then again yellow is pretty crazy! Looking forward to seeing it finished

I did think about orange but i did my coolermaster in yellow so i thought i would give it a go again and i should have the 3/8" barbs - black tubing :) - spiral wrap and edge trim on tuesday so it should be running wednesday at the latest :D .

congrats mate:)
Chieftech,now that is a man´s case:D

lots of room to work( with both hands if you want)and 1 mm cold roled steel ,with no vibrations eheheh

I have the little brother , the Mesh mid-tower :)

With all the bits and pieces i needed to buy and the chieftec being a very reasonable price that was the deciding factor in me buying it also i like the layout inside and like you said netby there sure is plenty of room :D , i like the look of the bravo full tower that chieftec do aswell .

That case is huge!

I too was a bit worried when I first saw the colour scheme, but I think it contrasts with the grey really nicely. I'm still not too sure about the insides, but I'll wait and see how your window goes before I go looking for my sunglasses.

Oh, and its nice to see its going to match with the colour of your workbench! :p

PK!

Should have some more black inside to go with the yellow - yellow and yellow :D and that workbench is a knackered old one so i wasnt bothered about it getting painted also :p:D .

I got my black feser tubing - edge trim - spiral wrap and most of the barbs i wanted apart from 2 that was the wrong ones :p so i wasnt able to get the loop running but i did finish the side panel and tidy some case fans and also start the loop so here are a few pics for you .

case8.jpg

Top view of the case with soon to be thermochill under the grill .

case9.jpg

The start of the loop and as much as i could do .

case10.jpg

The side panel with the mesh fitted and i will have some pics when it is finished with a couple of cathode tubes inside .

Just hope i get the 2 barbs sent out tomorrow so i can get it running :) .

Seems a shame to hide the internals away behind mesh, would have thought two windows were the mesh is would show it all off nicely? That is if you intend to show it off :P

Great work so far though :)
