They did, iirc via kickstater or something, it picked up enough momentum and had enough feedback from its current user base that it closed up alpha/beta sign ups earlier this year.

I've played a bit of Grid 2 with M&KB and that's ok-ish, but I'd imagine a wheel would be much better - Grid 2 isn't the greatest racing game though...

I loved grid2! It died quickly unfortunately, so mp became too easy hence lost interest. Assetto other way round, no mp made it boring because no real competition. Not played cars

Agreed T. Assetto is gorgeous but still alpha and Grid 2 was sweet but massive connection problems in mp.

I just watched the vid and to be honest I think it looks crap. I was looking at the trees and grass and they look awful. The grass looks like its been freshly mowed for as far as you can see with a ruler to make sure its the same height. The trees colour looks all the same little variation.

Sorry I was expect Wow and got Huh ?

the thing with driving sims, if you play it right you don't look at the grass, trees etc. You want accurate maps and true physics. Cars looking amaze is also a must

yeah I know it did. I mean I just wish it had an on going one that you could pay to join up to. As much as I love Assetto Corsa theres just not enough cars/tracks and content to keep you busy on it.
