Project CM690 II (evolving build)

Started this build / project 3 years ago never did a proper log so thought i would share pics , and things i have done to make it better

Original Parts / build













changed the cpu cooler to gelid gx7 and installed a his 7850 added a modular power supply 2014



8 channel fan controller added



Started collecting new parts late 2014, first attempt at water cooling











finished the initial cpu loop and added a ocuk gtx 970



still wasn't happy decided to throw more money at it

full water cooling loop is in order i thought

fitted a 45 mm rad to the rear had to mod case a bit to get fittings in



block fitted to 970 installed and loop layout finished



finished job just tinkering with lights to do and case side panel needs modding slightly.

That looks sweet , bet you've noticed a drop in temps/noise

Wiring, the bane of us PC enthusiasts

ta ,Definitely a massive drop in gpu load temps 25c-30c reduction is great and reduced noise

Its really nice love the colour,I'm not nit picking your set up,couple of things i probably would have done is push pull on external rad and some rotary fittings from cpu block to rads for cleaner tubing runs!

Aye i do have spare fan knocking around could attach one to the rad outside. just need some long screws to do it. that rad does get toasty glad i put it outside. never thought of rotary fittings might look at them in the future
