Hi Guys!

So I decided to build a stop gap system to see me through to the next Intel release cycle.
I wanted to go with a coloured system but the standard red has been done to death and the blue just does not pop out enough... So white it was.

The plan is to do a strong black and white theme with a bit of red thrown in to break the start difference in the colours.

I've borrowed most of the ideas that I'm using in/on this case so I wont claim any of it as original.

Specs:
Case: Corsair 450D
PSU: EVGA G2 750W
MB: Asus Z97 Pro WIFI
CPU: i7 4790k
Heatsink: Corsair H105
Ram: Kingston Savage 2400
GPU: MSI 970 Gaming
SSD: Samsung 850 250GB x 2
HDD: WD Red 4TB

Tasks Completed:

Paint Motherboard Heatsinks

Tasks to do:

Paint Case - In Progress
Paint 970 - Strip down fan assembly and paint. Also look into custom backplate.
Purchase replacement coloured PSU cables - TO DO
Paint optical drive matt black - TO DO
PSU Cover / Midplate - TO DO

Forgive The crappy images I'll get some better ones up soon:

Having some serious trouble with the latest primer can. Just not flowing well. With have to do a serious sand down tomorrow.

Paints are:

Primer - Plastikote White Primer
Paint - Plastikote White Gloss

Well the rain is putting a hold on the painting. After sanding down the larger panels I'm realising that the plastikote is very soft and easy to mark. Looks like I'll have to protect it with a varnish.

SO I've been stuck building the system due to missing some parts for the Corsair H105 AIO I purchased.

Just got an e-mail that they are shipping them for free to me!!!

Fantastic service from Corsair!

sorry about the lack of updates.

the poor weather means I'm not able to do any serious painting. I've primed everything now and hopefully will have some images later in the week.
