Welcome to Project Cyclone

After my plans for Project Triton fell flat on its face due to having to change case, i had to re-model my ideas and visions. I had already amassed parts, radiators, items and things for the previous project. Waste not want not. This will be even more challenging than the original project so i am raring to go

Why have i gone with Cyclone? Well a cyclone is an closed area of fluid that rotates in the same direction just like a WC loop, also Cyclones generally appear as white, cue the main backdrop of my vision!

As you can see the case itself is spacious

PSU cover, don't mind the gap between the end and the actual cover, youll see my plans eventually ;)

Had a separation plate made between the compartments, have plans a foot there also.....wanted to make the main area neater etc!

Also ordered a res, and some more tubing......also need to spray and shave a little off the big side plate to make it fit 100% flush....and also tons more stuff to do but finally glad to be able to crack on!

gavbon, I've got the CM Trooper which is a very similar case, how big is the rad you're putting into your stryker and where are you going to mount it?

i'm not mounting any rads inside the case itself

i'm building a modular housing, which will act as a stand/pedestal for the case to sit on

built in will be 2 x 480mm radiators, and 1 x DDC pump, might mount both in there, but res will be in the case etc

Dis gon B good :) I do prefer a build that's more about what you can make/mod, rather than how much expensive gear you can stuff in.
Making it your own ftw.

Should've thought of making a pedestal/rad box for my build, come to think of it. Good stuff.

Thank you very much, i thought the same really!

I would rather something be my own take, than spend 4k on the best spec build

My setup wont struggle with anything really and i plan to Overclock it to the hilt :D

After the 2nd coat, i'm really happy with the finish! looks gorgeous in the flesh
