Project Daring
Here's a project I'm starting for gaming rig!
Specifications
Case: Silverstone RV-02
CPU: Core I7 920 DO Stepping @ 4GHZ
Motherboard: EVGA X58 SLI LE
Ram: Corsair Dominator 6GB
Graphics Card: Sapphire 5870 Vapor-X
Hard Drive: Crucial RealSSD C300 128GB
Sound Card: Creative X-Fi Xtreme Gamer
Power Supply: TBC
Cooling
Intake: 3 X 180mm Silverstone Fan
Exhaust: 1 X 120mm Akasa Apache Black
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-C12P SE14 w/ 120mm Akasa Apache Black
Here is the case in all its glory!
The power supply unit is positioned with the fan pointing towards the rear and the air exhaust directed upwards out of the case
The motherboard is installed in the 90* position. This means the rear panel I/O and expansion ports for the motherboard are on top of the case.
There are 3 giant 180mm fans which should help keep the components nice and cool!
The front of the Raven 2 looks like a stealth vehicle
On rear side there is only a small hatch with a dust filter for the power supply unit.
I like the fact you can remove the dust filters to clean them as often as you like!
