Hi there

Well after years of using computers i thought it was about time i properly built one.

Having just gone self employed and starting my own buisness i though that would be an ideal excuse to build a custom pc. (Which it was)

Just one problem........money.

So many months of ebay and forum hunting and i have the following.
It's not cutting edge but should be more than capapble of what i need it for.

Case - coolermaster cosmos 1000 black
motherboard - asus p6t deluxe
cpu - intel core i7 920 do stepping
ram - corsair dominator 6x2 gig. 8-8-8-24
gpu - 2 x gtx580 hydro copper 3gb
soundcard - asus xonar d2
psu - enermax revolution 85+
ssd - corsair force 120gb
hdd - 4 x 1tb western digital green

The watercooling loop

reservoir - ek multi option 250
pump - ek dcp 4.0
cpu waterblock - ek supreme
chipset waterblock - MIPS
ram block - MIPS
Radiators - 2 x EK 120, 1 x EK 240, 1 x black ice stealth 120.
Fittings - mainly EK
Fans - noiseblockers pl-2

I think that's everything.
To promote my buisness i decided to CAD model the entire setup so i could create a highly detailed and realistic promotional video for it.

Anyway after many evening with a tapemeasure and some callipers this i where i am.

Nice modelling and nice renderings too, what program did you model/render them in? The design looks good, it is going to be interesting to see if it all turns out as you plan.

One thing I don't like is the top clip on bit that covers the fans, it looks from your model that there is enough room to mount the rad and fans inside the case. If you did that I think the case would look much cleaner with a flat top, though maybe you like it so want to keep it.

Your designs look awesome! The great thing about the Cosmos case is how customisable it is. I have the i7-920 CPU in my build and even with a Corsair H80i liquid cooler I've managed to overclock it to at least 4Ghz so with a custom WC loop you should have a top end build on your hands :)

i am currently using rhino with the v-ray plugin for rendering on a very low lighting setup.
The fan cover is fully enclosed by the side pieces and legs but i just haven't bothered to model them yet.
