Had some decent share returns this year earlier than expected, so took the opportunity to put some money into a brand new build. Having always cautiously budgeted in the past on "previous but one" gen kit, it was exciting to be able to throw a little caution to the wind and fully update this time around.
Budget was 6k, but, despite Nvidia's best attempt, still didn't come close to it.
Much haribo was eventually consumed in the delivery of said items...

Got a bit impatient, and started test fitting/building. CPU arrives at the end of the week
A bit of cable management needed!
I wanted the GPU in a vertical configuration. I haven't seen many 4090's at all in this config at the start, so wasn't sure if it would all fit, thankfully, it does. The RAM, being quite tall, was the biggest concern!
I've ordered a cablemods 12vhpwr cable as the supplied adapter cable into the Corsair cables just creates a horrendous mess. Since the GPU is vertical, i don't need to worry about waiting for a right-angle 12vhpwr cable.
