Hello,
I'm trying to balance price and performance doing a "best of last gen" build, in doing so I'm considering switching to an AMD CPU for the first time in over 30 years of PC gaming.
Here's my current plan:
Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow TG
CPU: Ryzen 5800X3D
Cooler: Deep Cool Assassin III
Thermal Paste: Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut
MB: MSI X570-A Pro
RAM: 64GB Patriot Viper 4 3600 CL18 (2x32 kit)
GPU: ASUS TUF RX6800XT-O16G-Gaming
PSU: Corsair RM850X 80plus Gold
SSD: Kingston NV2 M.2 1TB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB (basically file storage for media)
Is there anything I'd be missing or that I'd need to tweak?
I don't plan to overclock or change anything except the GPU for the entire PC lifetime (6+ years, current build is an i7-3770k approaching the 10 year mark).
Thanks for any suggestions!
