so a while ago i bought a fractal xl and i loved it however later down the line i wanted to
watercool it but that was not possible due to there only being spaces for 120-140mm fans
so i set out on modding it and i did. i put a 360mm rad in the top with the use of a dremel
and poorly drilled out holes! however i was not happy enough with my efforts so i set out
to mod it even more and give it a clean look which is now finished and i shall be showing here :D

the specs in question:
i5 2400
msi z68a-gd80-g3
8gb corsair vengeance-downgraded to 4gb dominators for the time being
asus 560ti dcu2 top 1gb
1t samsung and 60 gb ocz vertex 2
xfx 650w-now changed to a enermax modu87+ 600w

watercooling specs
black ice stealth gt gen2 360mm rad
swifttech micro res rev2
a mix of bitspower and phobya fittings
ek supreme ltx nickel acetal
ek nickel plexi dominator x4 block
ek dcp 4.0 pump
3x phobya g silent 120mm red fans

now for some pics of it before i further modded it :)
enjoy

please excuse the crap pictures1
more to come in a minute :D

so i wanted to put bulkhead pass through barbs on the shelf so i could have my pump sittings underneath in the hard drive cage so i whacked the dremel out and started cutting with all my components still in the case (no gfx), needless to say this is a very bad and stupid idea because of all the metal shavings/dust which would short my board i think? but i disassembled everything and gave it all a good clean and all was ok thank god :)

i needed a backplate so that my motherboard didn't warp but i couldn't
be bothered to buy one and the only one i had was was an old asus silent knight 2 one which had the wrong thread sizes in so they needed to be drilled out :) oh and also i got a new psu :)

now im not usually one for case badges but i had to put this one on!
also i swapped my 8gb vengeance for 4gb of dominators and a tenner as a temporary step down untill i can afford something bigger. my boss cable management, leak testing, my makeshift anti knik spring :P and finally all tubed up and working :P
