Project: funky "wendy" house for the kids.

need some ideas for a cool/funky wendy house for my 2 kids, will be making from scratch. needs to fulfil needs of both boys and girls. was thinking modern looking castle but not sure. ideas most welcome. build log to follow.

Depends on a few things such as where you are building it, the area available, the age of the kids and are they typical boy/girl?

my children are monty nearly 4 and prudence just 2, so its got be ok for both girls and boys, it can be of a decent size 2x2 meters max i would think. also will be left outside so needs to withstand british weather!

We got a decent one for the kids when the youngest was 2. All three girls played inside it at first, then one of them noticed a spider.

It remained deserted for years until I recently gave it away to a friend at work and her daughter loves it even with the odd spider.
