Hello, this is one of my first post's on the forum and I thought I'd make a build log of my latest build. I'm trying to go with a black and gold theme wherever possible.I am starting off with air-cooling but over the next few weeks, I'm going to build my first ever custom loop for the PC and log it all in this thread.

All of the parts listed below have been ordered, I am just waiting on delivery.

Case: Corsair 750D
PSU: Corsair AX860
Soundcard: Creative Sound Blaster Z
Monitors: 27" Dell Ultrasharp (2560x1440), 23" Dell Ultrasharp IPS(Portrait)

Looks interesting! Although I'd save yourself some cash and go for a standard ACX 780Ti over the SC - there's no difference over the reference cards other than the clock speed, which you can easily match manually :-)

It's about a £30 difference which doesn't really bother me, I'm going to try and clock it to Classy speeds with the air cooler and then higher when I get my custom loop set up.

Here are a few goodies that arrived :D

EDIT: I am awaiting on my new desk that comes on Friday, can't wait to see this whole thing come together!

My desk has just arrived, the rest of the parts shall hopefully be here on monday, this is my temporary battlestation for the time being!

Sorry about the blurry pic, it was taken on my phone, I'm going to use my DSLR for the build pics.

That lil headphone amp looks sexy!
It sounds even better too!

I did double take the keyboard at first. I kind of like it! Although once the build is complete it might look a bit too old school?

Subbed.
Thanks man! Ahh, can never be too old school!

This reminds me of the XDNA Aurum. Search for that for a bit of inspiration. Same case and black/gold interior :)
Wow, it looks amazing. If the end product looked something similar to that, that would be nice!

Black and Gold, well I'll have to follow this having done one myself.

Have fun, look forward to seeing how you get on.

The Ducky DK-9008 Shine 3 Tuhaojin is an awesome looking gold keyboard, but very expensive.

Thanks! I've had a look at yours, it's looking really nice. Are they MDPC cables? I was thinking going for the Vanilla Sands ones as it's the closest to gold sleeving you can buy.

Here is a recent picture considering all my parts have arrived and I am itching to use my computer so I assembled the PC with it's parts. I received a reference cooler instead of ACX.

I hope to order my WC parts in the next week or so, so I will post on here the whole log with pictures on the setup and minor mods I will be doing.

I can post some interior pictures of the PC if anyone is interested in the mean time, I am going to install the fan controller as some point this week too.

Sexy.
I was going to buy that desk as well, ended up with different one.
Is it comfy? No problems turning the chair around.

For the price of the desk, it's well worth the money. It feels pretty sturdy and I have room to move around, also you can always remove the pull out side thing if you don't want it.

The only thing about this desk is it gets dusty quite easily, I end up wiping it every other day, but apart from that it's really nice to be honest.

I'd remove the competitor name from your second to last post.

Nice spec though, looking forward to how this turns out. What color tubing/liquid you going for?

I'm planning on black tubing and gold fittings, I have never watercooled a system before, so fingers crossed it all goes well!

What desk is that?
It's an Ikea MALM desk. It's a bit of a pain to have to assemble it, but I did it in 30 minutes and it's extremely sturdy.

Sorry everyone this project has gone slightly in-active for the time being as I am gathering the funds to finish of the build with the custom loop.

I will keep you all updated but I should have the parts purchased relatively soon!

Thanks
