Erm.. I know thread bumping is bad and all... but I literally remapped the thing again yesterday.
It's now running 150bhp and 240 ft/lb of torque (has been running 131.5 and 200ft/lb). It realy does go well now (well.. so I think) makes for overtaking to be much quicker and is real fun when I need it to be.
Yes, I know in a few weeks.. months I'll get bored again and buy myself an Integra DC2.
But for £60 it was daft not to remap it
Reason for taking soooo many months to get it remapped again was due to my lazyness. To remap it I'd have to up the turbo boost, and this requires a gauge.. something I only fitted recently. So now I can monitor pressure, it is running 21psi (Standard is 14-15psi)
The actuator on a Garrett GT15 is an absolute **** to adjust, I had to remove a bracket that holds the turbo to the engine and remove the turbo oil feed. This still only left enough room to turn the thumbscrew with the worlds smallest pair of pliars!
The other reason, for not running over 150bhp and 240ft/lb is the clutch. I'm still using my stock one, after a thorough 20 or so mile test last night I felt clutch slip when trying to load up the clutch. I'm hoping this will settle down and bed in as I'm told it has before on other HDis. It certainly felt a lot better today when I drove it after leaving it overnight.
an uprated clutch is £300+ something that to me is.. not worth the money. 5 or 10 more BHP with another 20 or 30 ft/lb of torque? seems false economy to me. You're also getting into silly power there for such a small car. Torque steer becomes a big problem,

Oh, and here's a power graph from 2009? OcUK RR Day.
