New case, new project plus that I've not done a fresh build for ages!

Not many pictures I'm afraid as I've been away for days/week at a time training for my new job so I've been doing bits at a time.

Got the case just after Christmas and always wanted one as the water cooling possibilities in this thing are huge!

So I went collect the case and got a truck load of water cooling gear included with it too!!

The case back at my house

Some of the water cooling gear it came with ( Also had a Thermochill PA 120.3 in there!! And a thick 120.2 radiator! And yes that is 2x Laing DDC pumps you see :D )

The bad parts

The previous owner cut windows in the both side panels and made a bloody awful job of it! I managed to find a brand new Lian Li OEM side panel with window off the internet but could not find a new/used panel for the other side so I'm going to patch it :(

He also cut a hole in the roof panel to fit an Alphacool display, again very poor job and that will be filled.

The case will be filled, sanded and then sprayed gloss white similar to a build Marcus over another forum did.... Here's his Lian Li 343 for reference;

I think that looks the dogs ********!!

Anyway as it stands now I've had the entire case acid dipped to remove any residue and also to strip the original black anodised finish off the case, the panels now look like this;

The case itself is at the powder coaters and is being coated satin black.

I now have to fill in the cut's the previous owner made before it can be sanded and finally sprayed

Parts that are on order

XSPC drive bay reservoir for 2x Laing DDC pumps
2x EK VGA single cover blocks - Clear plexi & nickel
EK Clear plexi & nickel CPU block
Thermochil TA 120.2 radiator ( To match the 120.3 version I already have )
16 matt black compression fittings
Tube
UV blue and UV red fluid ( Intel & AMD theme )
6x 120x38mm yate loon fans ( already have 6 but need more )

My current 'to do' list

- Fill in side panel window cut
- Fill in roof cut
- Sand all panels
- Get wet painted gloss white
- Sell all un-wanted parts ( Including Alpha cool LCD and current case )
- Find some vented 5.25" drive bay covers to aid air flow, like in Marcus's case pictures.

Updates at the weekend :)

That looks nice.
I love big cases, you have so many options.
Question, what is the model of that fan controller?
I need a white one myself or one without any leds/lcd display.

As posted, that's another Lian Li build, and the fan controller was black, it's just been powder coated like the rest of the case.

Look what I collected from the powder coaters

Finish on it is amazing!! Well worth the £25 it cost me to get it done.

The motherboard and the rest of the water cooling gear should be here tomorrow so fingers crossed I can fire her up!

Considering selling the case as don't feel I'll have the time to finish it properly :(

But this is it as it stands... Pipe work isn't final.

And that's it for now... will do some more if I find the time.... Or I'll be starting a new build log with a different case that doesn't need as much work.
