Project log etiquette

I’ll be doing some major work on the home rig over the next few weekends. And as I’m one of a few passive water cooling users on this forum I thought it might make a good project log.

Is their any right or wrong ways to do a project log?
Or are there any key elements/details that shouldn’t be forgotten.

Happy to integrate any good ideas for follow a ‘best practice’ example

no specific etiquette - don't get too many project logs over here - but if you're looking for a good guide look over at the bit-tech forums.

No formal ones exist, but I can speculate on some best-practices. :)

Update the log to let us know what's going on.
If you cease to work on a project for an extended period of time let us know about it so we don't sit here hoping that you do, at some point, continue progress. Photograph your work as it is ongoing and document what you were doing when the photos were taken. Indicate what the next step in the project will be if possible.

Photograph well
Limit photos to 800x600 or link a thumbnail to a higher-quality image. Avoid poorly lit photos and those taken on a cell-phone camera if possible.

Plans
Post a link to any relevant technical specifications you used so that others, endeavoring to perform similar work, might follow the path you blaze. For instance, if you find a template for the hole pattern to cut for a PA 120.3 post it so that others can see what you used and how you used it.

Title
Indicate that the thread is a worklog in its title.

Completion
When the mod is complete, post a few photos of it in the cases gallery and link to the main thread.
