Project management software

Any recommendations for a small company (15 people) that's not too complex? Just about to start researching, but was hoping for a few pointers.

If your thinking in terms of one person creating and managing a plan rather than everyone wanting to access the same file / data like a cloud solution then you could look into Open Proj. It works just like early MS Project (98) but as it's open source its free.

probably just need good access to gantt chart software/template. otehrwise there is a Wikipedia project management software

We tend to use Project for the project plans and an online tool called BASECAMP for actually managing the project. According to a third party its one of the most widely used tools (although I haven't used it enough to comment.)
