Hi guys n girls,

New year new project from me, i've been thinking of making a new PC that will work as a HTPC, but also one powerful enough to play games on that is a little more portable than my desktop PC (see link to that in my sig)!

The specification is as follows.....

YOUR BASKET

1 x Lian Li PC-Q36WA Mini-ITX Case - Black Window £104.99
1 x Corsair RM Series RM 550 '80+ Gold' 550W Power Supply (CP-9020053-UK) £83.99
1 x Avexir Core Red Series 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-17200C11 2133MHz Dual Channel Memory Kit (AVD3U21331104G-2CIR) - Red Light £65.99
1 x Intel Pentium K Anniversary G3258 Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £57.59
1 x Samsung Slimline Blu-Ray 6x BDRW / 8x DVDRW - (SN-506BB/BEBE) £49.99
2 x Kingston 120GB SSDNow V300 Drive SATA 6Gb/s 3 2.5" (7mm height) Solid State Hard Drive - (SV300S37A/120G) £46.99 (£93.98)
Total : £589.62 (includes shipping : £11.75).

I haven't yet decided on the graphics card yet, as this will be a slow project it might change although i'm looking at a 960 as and when they are announced.

I do plan on modifying the PSU cables, which i will show the progress on as and when the parts arrive over the next coming months.

Looking forward to seeing the Lian Li case, never worked with one before!!

The Lian Li case is fully modular and all of the panels can be removed leaving just the frame. Here you can see i've only taken the side panels off and removed the motherboard tray, yes this case has a removeable motherboard tray!
