This is NOT my project but it's rather an awesome one I think so decided to share with you 'orrible lot.

Minipreza on Scoobynet.

For those that are too lazy to click or read. A guy is stripping down an Impreza WRX and putting it into a classic Mini shell.

nice hybrid mini project.

I once looked at a 2.0 vauxhall conversion for a mini. Totally feasible except for the fabrication being beyond my abilities. Funnily enough, there's a lot of subframes made and sold for various mad mini engine conversions. Most of them end up with a slightly longer bonnet, but the whole stealth aspect to a little tiny mini with all that horsepower really appealed to me, hehe.

Gota watch out for that torque-steer though :eek:
