Hm, I've heard good things about the Akasa.. Any recommendations? The Titan fenrir is the main one I hear but I don't think it'd fit in the 300 without me removing the side fan.. which I don't really want to do.

I plan on going water cooled in a few months anyway.

by referring to the 300, Im guessing you mean the Antec 300

If so I can confirm a TRUE fits inside with plenty clearance

Antec 300 doesn't come with a side fan installed (which is fine), in that arrangement the Titan, TRUE, Noctua or megahalems would fit fine. Personally I would give this beast a look.

Oh I do plan on going WC in a few months just not right now; was just looking for something cheapish that'd do me for now.. The Akasa.. tbh I know little more than it's cheapish, has 5* and is on the front page.
I do plan on fitting a side fan (that likely won't spin much tbh I just think windows look better with fans in them) so need something squat enough to fit.

also i'd go for the new evga le rather than the ud3 to keep with your colour scheme.

heheh, I decided that I'm not going to go down the route of picking the major components just because of what colour they are... mostly.
