Been toying with this idea for a while but I've made some progress by deciding which monitors to use for the build and worked out what sizes will look best together.

The initial idea is to purchase the monitors and then build the cabinet around them, not sure whether they will require de-casing or not as yet.

HANNS-G HA191DPB TFT LCD 19" DVI-D Monitor
410 mm x 160 mm x 411 mm

HannsG HL249DPB LED LCD 23.6" DVI Monitor
560 x 210 x 405 mm

Cabinet will be built from 18mm MDF, I will install flipper/start/credit/plunger switches but to keep costs low, my current machine will run the screens from outside the cab.

Eventually the plan is to install a machine inside the cabinet and to have a ledwiz to control flashers and button back-lights, install contactors for the sound of flippers/pop bumpers and install flashers or strobes which will be controlled by the table ROM.

I need to speak to an engineer friend before starting but I made some rough plans in Sketchup just to make sure the screens are a good size.

This is quite an ambitious project for me.
