anyone else looking forward to this mod ? Finally there will be organised competitive multiplayer environment for arma 2 where you don't need to worry about having mods to get on the server etc !

Would be good to get a little overclockers squad going

Sounds good, one of reasons I stopped playing Arma 2 was the lack of competitive multiplayer, could not be bothered with all the ACRE mods as most servers take it way to seriously, and having to download a tone of mods.

Sweet has the im game menu "BF2 style" Heres a video tutorial on the new controls

I think it's a shame how they won't/don't allow modifications to Project Reality when running it on a public server. I'm not talking core files, but actual missions made by the community (Correct if wrong, read this on the licence page of their site). I'll give it a go tonight.

It would run very well, it does on my system which is more or less the same

The servers are all dying from mass demand, seems they completely underestimated the popularity of it, five 100 player servers is nowhere near enough.

I don't think you can activate the cd key on steam, but the cheapest I have seen Arma 2 is over at gamersgate £9.95
