Now that I have my main computer up and running I can finally set to work on a long overdue project.

End of 2007 I designed and put together what you see below, yes it was a lot more tidy and that cooling system was doing fine keeping a q6600 + northbridge + 2* ati x3870x2 cool.

GPU blocks and bridge removed long ago, it now does a fine job keeping an i5 2500k cool, still has all original parts including pump except for the cpu block.

And yes the windows in the case are now kept in place by duct tape :P.

*****IMPORTANT*****
I just spent all my money on the new pc, any suggestions need to take that into account.

I really have nothing to loose now as the new pc is taking over all that this one used to do.

Sorry if I was not clear, I am looking for suggestions on how to reinvent this old build without spending too much money, I want to keep it as a functional backup computer but that is the only constraint.

I also have some specific questions now I have had a good look at it.

What is a good substance to fix the windows to the frame, I unfortunately can not remember what material they are except plastic of some kind.

What is a good solution to clean out the loop?

I plan to install a spare copy of vista 64 and dual boot it with ubuntu, will be both a games and media pc backup.

It contains
i5 2500k
Asus P77 motherboard
500gb hybrid seagate drive
Nvidia 660 ti
8gb ddr3
Corsair 760

After a long talk with wife we decided to make this a joint project, once the clean out is done (finished my last project yesterday) she is going to make 30-40 assorted gremlins, monsters and little people I am going to install some blue lighting and replace the main side cover with a plastic sheet behind which a fun world of creatures is going to exist, my wife is researching temperature resistant crafting supplies and I am going to spend the next few weeks rebuilding the pc.

With the low cost of tubing id rip them tubes out & stick some new in, its a pain to clean if you've used any dyes in the water,
When I clean my pumps & rads I use warm water from the shower head & blast it though, then rinse it though with some deionised water before fitting again.

get some cable wrap for them wires to smarten it up a bit, try hide as many as possible or maybe make a fake wall to cover them ?
The window material is Plexiglass/perspex

could use a rivet gun or maybe a hot glue gun to hold the window in place
