heya guys as of my previous project i started and really ended up not liking the case. so i decided to totaly re do the project new name and all so i have gone from project noob to romance is dead :D.

now i thought i would try be a bit more unique with this project and have not seen a build with this idea in mind yet so i thought it would be quite cool to do a band theme case probably my all time fave band and also my gamer/forum name :P

case is currently being finished i should be picking it up i50 event ;)

most of the components i was going to buy or bought have now changed apart from the i5-4670K

i have just had a delivery turn up with my new gpu's



i will be cooling them with these bad boys



the build is going to black blue and white based on their album artwork :) the guys over at rigmods and modwithme have helped me out big time with some sick looking custom grills that will be end of this week and then sent over here to be sprayed at rigmods wayne did a few renders for me with the album artwork in mind

for the coolent i have chosen mayhems pastel blue the radiator grills are going to match the coolent and dave over at rigmods did a colour match for me

thankyou guys i cant wait to get the case and make a start on it im ordering my final parts for the build so i can just get on with it :D all i need to find is a nice psu any thoughts ? idealy need a 1000w maybe 1200w

Little concerned with gpu block choice....that xspc block is for reference pcb 7950/70/280x, the dcuii tops 280x is a custom pcb, the only manufacturer that has confirmed to be making blocks for it are ek, who haven't released them yet....
 
Ekwb just says 'coming soon' suggest you sign up for their news letters as they'll usually ping it in an email update once ready.

I wouldn't hold out much hope of seeing them before xmas, they'll be busy making ti and 290 blocks :)
 
No, but project died :-)
I had a small leak on cpu block, fortunately I was at home and noticed in time.
I took the whole thing apart and ordered me a Corsair 540.
Over the next few months I will be building a new rig in it.
Will be probably the most expensive thing I ever bought lol, but at least I won't be bored.
 
Ahh man sorry to hear that it must be gutting when that happens :/. We'll I'm going to order the rest of my parts after the i50 LAN event just incase there are any bargains up there.
