In the process of building a home server. The specs will include:

Intel E2140
Asus P5N32 SLi
2GB Geil ULL 6400
256MB ATI 1600XT PCI-e
1x 120GB Samsung OS Drive
2x 500GB Seagate 7200.11 Storage Drives or 4x 250GB Seagate 7200.11's

To get things started i needed a case. Quick hunt in the roofspace and found the remains of a Multivision case complete with inards.

Im done with the boring beige look so i jumped in the car and headed for B&Q, came back with Orange Super Gloss and Black Super Satin Plasti-kote.

The outside of the case will be black and the inside will be black and orange.

Lets have a looksee around the case before i begin.

View from the front - lost some bay covers in the past years but there will be a Kama Bay cooler which will take up 3 of the 4 and there will be a Pioneer 112BK in the other.

Looking good so far, looks like your little helper did all the dis-assembly work ;) orange and black should look well together imo

lol when i see/hear dis-assemble all i can think of is Johnny 5 from short circuit - no0oo0o disassemble!

im also going for the black and orange theme for Project Overkill - too many projects not enough money!

You use any preparation stuff like sanding or primer? Looks brill so far, been thinking about orange and black meself

new pics will be up tonight, hardware, finished chassis and build process, ill need to go and get more black satin for the side pannels.

im not goin to do the window in the left side pannel - its a case thats going to sit in the corner and its not worth the hassle tbh, havnt got the money to buy perspex and there isnt going to be much to look at

damn you allyoucanupload.com, looks like you will need to refresh to see some of the images that dont display first time round

yea, got buidling last night and yes pictures were taken, will head to B&Q on the way home for more paint, so watch this space

EDIT - im also getting 80-120mm fan convertors, 80's dont cut it no more

the p5n had to be sent back, its not core2duo compatable, so they are sending me the p5k out soon, they received the p5n on monday there.
