Thanks I'll have a look into that, the cables would need to be 20-30m long though so I imagine they would have to be pretty decent so there isn't much interference. I've got a old monitor in the shed so will probably just check it out once a week or something if I can't find a better way, need to keep an eye out for rats etc anyway!

Hmm.. 4 x 8800GS grade GPU's plus an Athlon X2

Looking at my gauntlet stats (admittedly Q6600 grade CPUs) but...

About 3K each for the GPU's and 1-2K for the Athlon max, so around 14-15K?

But I might be mad off target

Looks like he peaked at around 10K RAC but not sure if he really got going, a lot of us didn't get going full steam till right near the end, I didn't ever manage to get top output during the gauntlett because of the way BOINC scores.

Yeah it was a shame I couldn't finish the build sooner, could have got a bit more credit. I'm not sure how worth while something like this is for seti. Maybe with a quad core in there as well it would make more sense.

I was thinking of something to give me a boost for a while, I wouldn't loose too much money on. Just a 260 or 275 makes more sense for me.

Nice project though.
