Under The Stairs!

It's looking very good for an aio device indeed.:)

I only hope the big green guy doesn't charge upwards of £100 for the pleasure as my Xoom has been doing the same thing(coming on a few years now) with Splashtop Browser and a wireless 360 pad.

The only problem with that setup is when in use, the weans(big ones too) can run up to the PC and 'take over'.:D

Again Kudos to Nvidia for thinking out the box, all they need to do next is stop tying it down-they would sell more.;)

Looks nice though the screen is small.

Not read much about it but can you use it out and about via say a tethered internet connection from your iPhone to connect back to the PC via Project Shield device?

Just basing it on using my home network with Splashtop and other types which is essentially the same delivery method.

I realise it will be tweaked up by Nvidia, but even when streaming on a home wifi network, you still get lag, driving titles are a complete no go due to the delay.

I suppose it depends where you live, some areas will have adequate bandwidth.

The vid I posted will be using the best wifi hardware available, if you are in that bracket, then it will work well, stray too far or depend on mobile net, then I think your going to get your butt handed on a plate more often than not.:(

Again, still a neat wee box o tricks, but it will take time for networks to give us the kind of connection it's looking for.

Why would I waste my money to sit somewhere in my house staring at a small screen, when I can be upstairs playing on my actual computer with a 120hz screen. Nvidia what are you doing? :(

Playing a PC first person shooter with a control pad on a small screen? That seems totally counter productive, just buy a psp or whatever they have these days.

Can already do remote desktop views with android phones and tablets. Can get a mouse and keyboard for those devices aswell to give better control.

Nice little gadget and a great idea but i feel that if it takes off other independent Android system makers will just copy it or incorporate in into existing devices and make it open.

Which wouldn't be a bad thing at all.
