Ok well for starters this is a long mod lots of things will change to this case but expect the full project log to be finished in 6months to a year.

first I had the horrible job of cable braiding. I decided on doing each cable separately. Sadly no pictures of the braiding but then again everyone has seen that (but will get one when I can do a decent pic of black cables).
well first I have all the parts needed to build my loop.
here are some of the items in the mod
Lian Li V2110B
Ek Supreme HF (2010 v1 model)
Ek X-TOP/D5 combo
Thermochill PA120.4
Mcubed T-Balancer BigNG
Bay res
and blacksparkle compression fittings

MB:ASUS A8N SLI Premium
CPU: AMD FX 60
RAM: bla...
GC: 7600gt

And here is the Lian Li Beast this thing is MASSIVE but then it's gonna need to be to fit this rad.

Ahh the BigNG the perfect tool for stress free silent cooling.

And here is that thermochill rad sadly disaster has struck and I managed to get the only one that has a leak (be it a small one) in the core of the rad(would have to be mine that was a one off).

Once the new one has been received and I get my refund from the competitor ill be re building the system. Reason being is this time I plan to install a few rotary joints in (to make my life easier) along with a draining tap using a ball valve.

Gonna have to get the dremel out soon as that metal is getting in the way.

However the motherboard sadly died a few weeks ago and so I've upgraded :D. Luckily I have enough parts now to build the system (no pic's yet for new parts need to get some batteries for the camera).

Rads now flushed and has gasket and fans installed.

New Parts
i5 760
MSI GD-85
Dominator GT 4gig
Nvidia 460gt (with nice new full cover EK waterblock)
so only a slight upgrade :D
and found some Bitspower bits and those rotary fittings but sadly no drain value yet annoyingly

However when swapping the systems over I noticed that this coolant that was supposed to be a one stop solution, has algae deposits in now (has clung to a part of the res and was discolouring the tubing which was a pain). So trying out some PHN PT_Nuke stuff hoping it will kill it all then gonna replace the coolant with something different anyone got any suggestions ?

oh and btw this was from an old post on a competitor so a few months have past since it was started but been restarted due to being able to get the ball rolling again. Pic's of the new system installed to come soon along with some old mb tray work i did (even if it is a little sloppy :D).

Yea was gonna keep the old parts till bulldozer came out from AMD but ah well nm.

Yea it's a nice case shame it's a nightmare for cable management.

Yea and if ur not afraid of messing up you can create loads of ideas for them also cause mostly cause there just an empty canvas.

Yea just about had to use the version 2.9 which is on the CD that came with it, but yea it works in win 7 with it amazing bit of kit really dont have to worry about anything overheating (but ur right the software support is terrible (mind u you can actually have the code source sent to u from mCube)). Thinking of attaching my pump to it next too, but cable management comes first.

Posting pic's at the weekend so watch out for update.

So just pic's of the new kit in and some cable management (still need to do more).

Hmm annoying need a new 8pin :P case too big :D

Watercooling Loop looking good though

Mmm bitspower black sparkle rule :D

gotta make this a bit tidier before i put it on display thinking of making a black tinted version of the plastic (and all the cables need to be braided)
img15501.jpg

Hmm Gonna be a lot of cables stuffed in here the curse of not braiding the psu cables.
img15601.jpg

Now that is better :D

Mmmm Quad goodness

Lol you read my mind ha yea that's happening soon gonna get it changed to blue(or black not sure yet) (mind u not sure between having it re anodised or powder coated).

Just having to buy some more tools now as need to remove all the rivets (to allow the parts to be anodised). Also waiting on a drain valves to become available.

But have had a bit of a disaster bought some Thermochill solution but algae has begun to grow in the solution had to by some PHN Biocide Nuke. But that's also been in the solution for about 2 weeks and has killed anything it looks (i even had to replace the tubing and the fluid (had some left over) and it still hasn't helped (probably gonna have to replace the res also now as the algae has reached impossible to reach areas).

Yea the cable length was so bad that the only place i could have the psu was on top :P. Now just waiting for next month's paycheck before i do a bit order from MDPC :D.

Are you sure that its algae, it could be flux from the new rad.
Did you give the rad a good flush out before fitted it into the loop.

Also you can give the res a soak in some hot water with a little bleach.
This will kill any bacteria & make the plastic sparkle.
Just make sure its not a strong solution & not soaked for a long period as the plastic welds can soften, causing leaks.

Could be didn't think of that however seems unusual as flushed the rad quite a lot (mind u didn't use vinegar as had problems with that last time and was instructed to only use hot distilled water this time).

Yea ill try that bleach trick saw that before somewhere kinda annoying though cause it's clung to a hard to reach area so would be surprised if that was deposit from the rad (but u might be right that it's a mixture).

You will also have to check your rad & blocks. If there is any algae any where within the system, it will cause you problems in the future.
Its best to strip everything down & give it a good clean.

Yea both to those questions :D. Yea annoying only reason i haven't done it yet is i don't want to have to cut the tubing again until i have a drain valve sorted then it's gonna get a serious clean :P (also gonna flush my rad again with a mixture of distilled water and spirit vinegar). Wont be long now hopefully with the 460 backplate was thinking about it mind u depends on how much the thing is :P.
