I'm pretty sick of all of the LED's all over my motherboard and internal components and so I'm looking to eliminate all of the light. I'll be placing black electrical tape over the LED's inside and just covering the front LED fans with black leggings to work as a light dampener and to filter dust on this Antec 900.

Eventually I would like to buy 2 Akasa Apache's and spray them completely black as I would love the look of that.

Edit: Overall I think it looks much better, I'm also considering getting a non-windowed side panel for it, will look a lot better than the window with no lighting, I just can't find another case that I like, looks good and costs less than £160.

I think it'd be much better if I broke the LED's on the stock fans or bought the Apache's and sprayed them, but it'd have to be such a perfect spray job I prob wouldn't be up to it.

just cut the LED wires on the fans, i understand what you're saying though..the only colours i like are the white LED's ....the blue ones look cheap and blingy nowadays....too bright and glary.

the white LED's on my Xigmatec look great, they're cold and understated, it makes the case look ``seriously chilled`` at night; especially with a silver case, but my Thermaltake LEDs look total crap in comparison.

With a title like that I was thinking silverstone raven (the first version)
Name change to - project:blackout maybe...

Have a look at noiseblocker fans - they have the 'dark' look.
or the alaska smoke for a fraction of the price
But I'm guessing this is a minimal-spend project, and I'm all in favour of budget mod's :D

Ok maybe the title was a little misleading, but I like the idea of an all black case just sat there hiding but ready when needed :D.

I do like the Lian Li's but I can't justify the price no matter how much I love the B25. But I've modded the front fans to something I can live with, covering the LED's have led them to light up the see-through fan casing so now from the front it looks like two halo rings, so now I've gone one better than the B25 :D
