so after a host of delays (brother got married, I moved home, settled with GF) I am finally able to look back and finish the last parts of this, and although I have now finally bought a gpu, as the prices are so crazy, I have opted for a single card until the price drops.
I have decided to remove the 600t case
it provided me with some great fun hacking up a box and filling it. but a computer case has no place in a living room so I want something more discrete.........
as I said I have just moved in with my GF (yey) and this weekend we will finally finish putting draws / cupboards etc together, wall mounted TV, wall mounted the table, here is the remnants of that effort:
And this is the living room...
(yes the curtains are being changed)
where you can see the computer (part opened) there is a large white box that matches the rest of the drawers, this is where the computer will go:
from what we can see, the PC BARELY fits.... this isn't good enough... so I am going to remove everything from the case and use the box itself for the PC case.
The current idea is to have 2 levels, the first for the PC hardware, and then a 2nd level for the radiators, currently, the width of the case can take 2 x6 radiators, so I may replace the treble rad I have for a bigger one. These will face the wall (out of sight) with some room for cabling.
I'll make a graphical representation tonight with some more pictures of inside the box to box to give an idea.
