Hi so normal 2.4 high ceiling and a 3m lens throw to ceiling mounted screen, now I had to cut a hole in my wall and fit a recessed shelf to hold the projector at ceiling level. So if I just sit the projector on shelf how do I get lens shift to drop image, looking at benq w2700 or as a second choice an epson tw9400, can anyone help

Where a projector has lensshift its either adjusted manually with a thumb wheel, or electronically where amotor moves the lens.
The amount of shift is generally given in the user manual. This will detail whether it's an equal adjustment above and below a midpoint, and howmuch picture shift there is in relation to the image height.
