Projector / Xbox / Soundbar

Hi,

I bought a projector for my Xbox, and I want to get audio to my soundbar somehow.

The sound bar is a Denon s517, it has an arc input, is there a way to split the hdmi from the Xbox to run two cables or am I stuck?

what xbox ? i could run a cable from my older xbox one s to my soundbar. Not an HDMI, it was some optical cable or something like that. I dont remember exactly the name of the cable but i get sound to my jbl bar studio 2.0.

but i could not do anything with my xbox series x and soundbar so will be interesting if you get any clear answers.

you should list the projector and xbox model though.

Does your projector support ARC too? If so, HDMI from Xbox to PJ and then HDMI from PJ to soundbar.

Xbox series X or s I have both.

The projector has aux and optical put, it's a Benq th685.
