OcUK motors rule #358 states that at any given time each member has one idea for a modified car project in their head that they will never carry out, so what's yours right now?

One project per post, here's mine:

Take one Alfa 155, not sure which.

Implant 2.5 or 3.0 V6 with turbo/s and a gearbox for four wheel drive, maybe transverse maybe longitudinal depending on gearboxes out there. The V6 may mate with the Q4/delta box. The Q4/delta rear drive train would certainly work at the back.

Add DTM body kit from various places like: http://www.tuningshop.co.uk/acatalog/The_Tuning_Webshop___Alfa_155_97.html http://www.nicedeals.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=7812&osCsid=e67cc5a2e8035dd075a2bcc742072dac Including bumpers, cills, spoiler and arches.

And the result should be a 155 GTA DTM replica.

Get another Renault 19, make it pristinely original inside and out, then rebuild the engine properly with a blower on it.

Got pretty much zero chance of finding what I want in the condition I want, it'll never happen :(

buy an example of my first car, a MKII (i think thats their correct term) VW Polo like so

Then proceed to leave it utterly stock on the outside, whilst squeezing the most ultimate engine that could fit inside, turning it into an incredible sleeper.

I want a Vauxhall Nova GSi. I'd strip it out, replace the engine with the 1.6 16v out of the mk 1 corsa gsi and tune it to about 160ish bhp (fairly easy to do), uprate the suspension, fit chassis strengthening plates and finsh it off with the corsa's brakes and servo.

It's certainly doable but I'm not sure if I'll find a nova in decent enough condition to make it worthwhile now. Or a 350bhp s15 would be great :)

I want an old mini with a supercharger on it

Can't see it happening though as they are a bit unreliable for my liking

I think your car was Renault's idea of a joke, they decided to put all the right nuts on all the right bolts on one car for a laugh.

Fix my leaking aircon in my accord, £50 for a new rubber hose with metal fittings!! Shocking.
