Prolimatech megahalems only for intel cpu?

Is it just me or is it just for intel processors? Ive been looking for an amd socket but it seems like its only made for intel cpus?

There is an AMD mounting kit which is sold separately. The standard Megehalems box cooler only comes with Intel mounting hardware.

any idea why they only include the intel mountings in the standard box? That just seems so unfair for amd owners..

Lifes unfair mate, some coolers don't include intels latest mounting setup but have amd's latest.

Surely its only a couple of pounds?

I had a look and the cheapest is £9. Still costs a lot for a mount though..

I agree it is a little expensive to buy the mounting bracket, it's a shame because it's a great cooler. I'd hazard a guess it's because there are a lot more Intel users buying the cooler than AMD users.
If I can make a suggestion, how about getting the Be Quiet Dark Rock Advanced instead? £7 cheaper than the Megahalems and comes with a fan as standard, plus mounting hardware for all current sockets plus older AMD sockets too. It's about on par with the Megahalems IMO, though the stock fan is very low speed so if you're planning to cool something hot it's worth buying a faster fan.

I've got the new megahalems black series & it comes with brackets for AMD AM2,AM3 & AM3+ Intel 775,1155,1156 & 1366.The new megahalems revision c come's with all the brackets if you can find one as everywhere seems to only list the revision b.

So rev c is only availble in black? I wish they'd do the silver ones on the latest revision though.

They do the regular megahalems in revision c but no where in the UK has them or the black series, i ended up gettting mine from Germany.

With shipping around £60 but bear in mind the black series is more expensive than the regular megahalems.
