Prolimatech Panther CPU Cooler

I currently have the Prolimatech Panther CPU Cooler with the fan it came with. The bottom of the cooler seems to be just a milled finish, rather than a flat ground finish... I heard it makes a big difference having a cooler with a "flat polished finish". Is this true? If so I could either grind the flange plate flat, or just get a new cooler with a better finish.

Any ideas?

I'd say just mount it and see what the temps are. H100i is milled too, the difference will be 1-2c at most to be honest. They are still all industrially manufactured to a high standard, so it will be good enough.
