Prolimatech Super Mega

Has anyone seen any reviews of this compared to the Prolimatech Megahalems Rev B, or have any idea of how well it performs against it?

Looking to buy a cooler soon and not sure whether to wait for this or not.

Sorry for the double post.

I have just been looking at the Prolimatech Armageddon 140mm CPU Cooler as an alternative. However, it seems that 140mm cpu fans are somewhat rare and I was wondering if someone could point me in the direction of a decent one that would be suitable for use on the Armageddon?

Just seen those 140mm silent eagles, ive always liked the 120mm se's. May be after a pair of new 140's for the front of my lian li a70f.

they are the ideal fans at that size really

they are so quiet and push a heap of air

they also cost three times as much as a 1000rpm yate loon from an unnamed retailer

Looks like I will be getting the sharkoon 140mm to put on the Prolimatech Armageddon :cool:

It will be interesting to see/hear how much quieter it is that the 120mm fans I current have on Q6600.

Just make sure that you check on Prolimatech's site to whether the Armageddon will fit on your board. As the Armageddon is a rather wide heatsink and does have some issues with some boards.

I had been looking at either the Asus P6X58D Premium or Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R. Only the Asus is compatible, so that has decided that.
