On the 20th of this month my insurance with NUD will end and my insurance with Swinton will begin.
I've had my documentation through from Swinton and they now want me to prove my Protected NCB amount.
Since I've been driving (14 years) I've only made one claim.
That was around six years ago and as I had protected NCB at the time I've got basically 14 years NCB.
I checked the box 9+ years for the Swinton quote.
The problem I now have is that the NUD renewal form says "5+ Years Protected NCB".
I've not actually got any way to prove I've got 9+ years of Protected NCB.
Will Swinton take my word on it?
Will they contact NUD for confirmation?
I was only with NUD for a year, so is it worth giving Swinton details of my insurance before then (where I worked up a large bulk of my NCB)?
Or...will I now just have to be listed as 5+ years protected NCB which I doubt will make much difference to the quote (if any) but just simply doesn't look as good on paper?
